These tiny ceramic houses sit upon a mushroom that was displaced from a tree after Hurricane Ian in Naples, Florida. The base of the sculpture is a second mushroom which was found in a wooded area in Charlevoix, Michigan. The organic matter in this mixed media piece has been preserved by using heat and and an art medium topcoat.
