Under the Swamp: Lunch

$0.00

This colorful “Under the Water” scene depicts a whimsical alligator going for it’s fishy lunch, who in-turn, is going for his lunch supplied by an unsuspecting fisherman. The layered effects in this piece were created using acrylic paints and inks, gesso, mesh produce bags, fish images, hand-made Asian collage papers, an antique fishing lure and line from my father’s fishing collection, vintage postal codes and stamps and, of course, a piece of my son’s school work in his younger days. A layer of art resin was added to create depth and also give it a beautiful glossy finish.

This painting is 25.5 inches wide X 37.5 inches in height X 1.25 inches in depth. It is framed in an antique silver/black illusion floater frame.
